Mont St. Clair











This is the Mont St. Clair patisserie in Jiyugaoka. The pastry chef is Tsujiguchi-san and is quite famous in Japan. It's a very impressive patisserie that sells everything from madelines, sables, entremets, petit gateau's, and chocolates. Definitely one of the best patisserie's that I have visited. It's important to note that many of the Japanese French chefs and pastry chefs have been to France and have trained in France. Many of times at their own expense, meaning, they pay for their own lodging and work for free in exchange for knowledge and experience.
